In March, I’m going to be crossing the line into — The minivan is officially full.
I’ll be joining the ranks of other Catholic moms who rock the title of mother of six. I’m talking about you — Jen, Hallie, and Marcia
How have we handled this news?
Hmph.
I’d love to say, ‘Piece of cake!’ Truthfully, I’m still a wee bit shell shocked.
I’m a hot mess of ‘I can’t do this!!”
My house is a wreck, my poor husband has taken over most of the cooking and cleaning, and we’re now on a year round plan for school.
I’m praying for energy, so I can tackle the giant to do list before spring.
When will Baby Six arrive?
In March, just in time for my 41st birthday.
God has a sense of humor, for sure.
What do the big kids think?
They are thrilled.
Rachel has her fingers crossed for a girl, and the boys are clamoring for a boy, of course.
I’m a little worried about how Maeve will adjust.
She’s quite attached to her momma, and in my eyes, she’s still a baby.
I have to remember that she’ll be almost the same age as Rachel was when the boys were born.
Until then, I’m just going to enjoy these moments.

Congrats! Lots of march babies this year. It’s a good month my birthday is in March and I’m hoping someone has their baby on the 6th so I can have a birthday twin!
I had no idea you were that age! You look way younger than that!
The baby is due the day before my birthday — so we’re used to March birthdays around here.
Having lots of babies keeps me young.

Congratulations! I guess that means we won’t see you at Behold this year, but I will be waiting for a chance to meet the new little one! I am sure that three months from now you will be rocking school, home, pregnancy, and everything else you do – and the rest of us will be like “How does she do it?!”
Marie, you make me laugh. I’ll be missing out on Behold — little too far for me to drive while pregnant.
I’ll be taking the entire family to Cincy for the GHC convention and I’m contemplating the Indy Catholic Homeschool Convention, depending on speakers.

I’m with you on wondering how the current “baby” is going to take it when number 5 comes in May. He is such a Mama’s boy- comes looking for me if I leave the room for 30 seconds! I love year round schooling….this is our third year and it really enables me to relax….K
It might be a challenge. Maeve was a very easy baby, but she’s a rambunctious toddler — very headstrong. We shall see.
You know me and my tendency NOT to relax. Argh.

I am expecting my 6th baby on March 12 and I just turned 41 a few days ago. So, you are not alone. I just think God will give me the energy and the wisdom to deal with this gift. He will provide, he always does…
