As the mother of for children, I do my fair share of running around in my Swagger Wagon. When summertime hits, the driving goes up tenfold, since the Kennedy Kaboodle are much better behaved when they get outside for a bit.
Here’s the dilemma. When you have errands to run, gym time to squeeze in, plus trips to the grocery store and park, how in the world do you minimize your time in the car? Erratic routes across my town can take up to thirty minutes or more, wasting time, gas, and putting a damper on the family budget.
A possible solution? I could check www.updateyourmap.com for GPS systems, both factory installed as well as portable devices. Using a GPS system could help me take Abby to Borders to pick up books for her summer reading assignment, head to the bank to make a quick deposit, drop by the gym for a workout, then head to Brett’s office for lunch — all while using the quickest and most efficient route possible.
Having an on board GPS system would help me with my driving decision making skills, too. There are plenty of times when I’m just not sure if taking the expressway is faster, or if the ‘main roads’ are just as quick. With the help of a NAVTEQ device, I’d be on my way in no time, cutting down my road time significantly.
What about you? Do you use a GPS in your Swagger Wagon, or Mom Mobile? Give me some tips!
Be sure and stop by www.updateyourmap.com for accurate information for your current GPS device, or to weigh future options for your family.
