1. Went through all of the Kennedy Kaboodle’s fall/winter clothes and organized them. I have the clothes that fit sorted into girl boxes and boy boxes, ready for cool weather.
I’m also getting ready for the fall consignment season. I’ve got all the children’s clothes that are too small separated into boxes, sorted by sex and size, already labeled with descriptions and prices. I’m just waiting until I collect enough hangers to start ironing and tagging. Goal date to have this completely finished will be August 1st.
I’m so excited to be cleaning out the basement, being green and recycling our clothes for someone else, and making some money for this fall’s wardrobe!
2. Spent the afternoon at Angie’s, with my oldest daughter, and came home a winner in the freezer cooking department! In about 4 hours’ time, I assembled four different types of dinner meals for my family, as well as some breakfast options. Stay tuned for all the details — we’re hoping to make this a monthly, or even a bi-weekly event.
3. Best score ever at the Goodwill this week! I was dropping some boxes of stuff off when I spied this:

I hopped out of the car, and took a closer look. I’ve been on the lookout for one of these, but wanted to find a good deal. For the cool price of fifteen dollars, this house came home with me! It needs some cleaning, but the children are already excited! Ours isn’t the exact one picture — it’s cream, with a green roof. I’ll post pictures as soon as we get it up.
Every small success snowballs into more — join in with the Catholic mom bloggers of Faith and Family Live to celebrate your accomplishments this week!
