2.) Do you want a baby?
Boy, is this a tough question, or what??
When we found out we were expecting twins, and since they’ve been born, a lot of people will comment about ‘being done’. Boiling that down, it’s a pretty rude comment to make to me, or to anyone else, for that matter. I’ve been very blessed with my fertility, thank goodness, but what if I had struggled to get pregnant, or to carry children to term?
Am I busy, with 4 children?? You’d better believe it. Sleep-deprived, crabby at times, and am sitting here, cooking dinner in my pajamas. I also have 4 beautiful children, who show their love for me in the most amazing ways. I’m responsible for raising 4 wonderful souls.
Do I want another baby?? I don’t know. I love being pregnant, love babies, toddlers, pre-schoolers, pre-teens, and yes, even my teenager. I love reading to my children, singing to them, making crafts, watching them grow, and teaching them.
I’m still young, and if God decides to bless us with another baby, what kind of person would I be to refuse?? He knows my life plan much better than I do.
5.) Time for a trip? Where are you headed this summer?…Or where would you go if you COULD.
A long overdue vacation is planned for this summer. My Granny graciously invited us to go on vacation with her in June, to Daytona Beach. I am super excited, as it is the first time we’ve gone out of town since I was pregnant with Rachel. Last time we took a trip, we went to Chicago with Abby.
It will be LOADS of fun, but I’m not kidding myself. I know it’s going to be WORK, chasing my boys around, since they will both be walking then. Phew! No worries … I’ll blog from Florida, too!
